On September 16, 2019, we took part in the Mönchengladbach company run RUN&FUN. Under the motto “RUN DMP – Hit the run”, inspired by the successful American hip-hop band RUN DMC, we were among the most strongly represented teams with a total of 18 runners. Clearly recognizable in our team shirts, we were fully motivated for the approximately five kilometer long course.
The starting signal was given punctually at 7:00 p.m. in the Mönchengladbach Hockey Park. And it went well for us: The fastest diamond runner was Marvin Pesch, who delivered a really good time with under 30 minutes. And in the end, the most important things were fun, team spirit and a good cause. For each participant, the organizer Santander donated to several clubs. Thanks for that!
