For quick small and serial repairs:
Metal repair from the tube
The ready-to-use “liquid metal” from Diamant Metallplastic – a one-component putty knife filled with high-quality metal powders – allows metal corrections of up to three millimeters thick on components made of steel, iron and aluminum.
With this material, quick and uncomplicated repairs can be made, and also the finest surface defects on castings can be eliminated without difficulty. Liquid metal can be used at defects with a depth of up to three millimeters, for example on castings of all kinds.
The one-component liquid metal is resistant to hot water and can withstand temperatures up to + 200 ° Celsius. With a very good metal finish, the material has good resistance to chemicals, weathering and aging.
Liquid metal is available in three different variants with the corresponding metal character: steel, iron and aluminum. The liquid metal superior variants have been specially developed for applications on castings that are not painted over. With its degree of gloss, the Superior version is particularly suitable for surface repairs on bare metal surfaces.
The special repair kit can be used without special expertise. You can fill it, pour and paint it and it hardens quickly. The viscous metal variants can be applied with a spatula, lancet or knife.
Thickened liquid metals can be made ready for use by adding a special thinner, also available from Diamant Metallplastic. Existing remains do not have to be thrown away. This saves costs especially where occasionally repairs are necessary.
By adding the thinner, the consistency can be varied so that liquid metal can be used without problems as a pourable mass.
