DIAMANT dichtol is the sophisticated ready-to-use polymer impregnation system for the safe and fast sealing of micropores, porosities and hairline cracks in rapid prototyping, 3D printing and additive manufacturing. Thanks to the excellent capillary activity of dichtol, the polymer penetrates deep into the workpiece and hardens there – besides sealing and surface impregnation.
The high-performance polymer anchors itself in the treated component and seals it reliably even at changing temperatures. Apart from surface finishing, DIAMANT dichtol thus also improves the fundamental properties of the workpiece such as the strength of brittle materials and the dimensional stability of the component.
DIAMANT dichtol is extremely resistant to physical, chemical and thermal stress. The technical properties of the workpiece are fully retained.
DIAMANT dichtol offers solutions for rapid prototyping (functional prototypes), rapid manufacturing (functional components) and rapid tooling (tools and moulds). A large number of processes and materials also benefit from a post-treatment with the dichtol infiltrate.
