Diamant Metallplastic GmbH
New shareholders with long company history
With effect from the beginning of 2020, the long-standing managing directors Sandra Pinter and Carsten Kunde have taken over the shares of the polymer and coating specialist Diamant Metallplastic GmbH as the sole owner. This makes the traditional company the fifth generation of the family and continues its more than one hundred-year history.
Diamant Metallplastic GmbH, based in Mönchengladbach-Germany, develops, formulates and produces metal polymers and coatings for the metal processing industry, the foundry industry, steel and bridge construction and mechanical engineering. It has a global distribution network with more than 40 trading partners abroad in the major industrial centres of the world.
The company goes back to the drugstore run by Robert Schulz in Mönchengladbach in 1886 and the first formulation of repair puttys there. In the following generations, it developed into a worldwide specialist of highly filled metal polymer products for a wide range of applications.
The long-term owners Achim (76) and Dieter Schulz (80) have now handed over their shares to the current shareholders Sandra Pinter (45), née Schulz, and Dipl.-Ing. Carsten Kunde (46). Both have been associated with the company for more than 15 years, among other things, as Managing Director and have contributed significantly to the positive development of Diamant Metallplastic GmbH.
The studied lawyer Sandra Pinter and the mechanical engineer Carsten Kunde stand above all for the increased orientation of the company as a holistic provider. In addition to the expanded production, extensive service, assembly and consulting services. The currently expanded development department, the establishment of a new laboratory and the reinforced assembly team characterize the future-oriented philosophy of the new shareholders.
