Iron Cement
100% protection up to 1600 °C: iron cement. The special putty for foundries, metallurgy and furnace construction worldwide
Fireproof thermal protection against wear for a longer service life of steel ingot moulds and firing systems. Resistant to high temperatures, physiologically harmless, ready to use.
DIAMANT iron cement is a physiologically harmless 1-component putty for the protection of steel ingot moulds and continuous casting plants against wear as well as the sealing of firing systems – for instance as gap fillers on chamotte bricks in furnaces and open fireplaces or for chimney coating.

Simple to apply, powerful against heat and abrasion
With application temperatures of up to 1,600 °C, iron cement resists even the most extreme thermal stresses and, after curing, reliably protects steel ingot moulds, for example, against hot abrasive cast steel. The application is as simple and efficient as could be: the ready to use, 1-component, special putty is applied with a spatula or a finger in a layer thickness of 2 – 3 millimetres before each new casting. That means: minimum effort for maximum protection.
